Sophia gasped when he grabbed her but was immediately muffled by his hand. Relaxing once it registered in her mind that it was Gabe, she put both her hands on the arm around her waist. Since she couldn’t really speak, she just nodded. Sophia was small and therefore easily portable. And she couldn’t exactly run.
He grinned and kissed her cheek before moving his hand away from her mouth. “I love you.”
