She leaned in and kissed his forehead then pulled him closer, hitching her ankles together behind his back and slipped her arms around his neck. She could reach him just fine from up here. “I know you’d do anything to protect her,” she nodded.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, humming quietly. “Mhm. Any of us here would. We’d do the same for you.” He pecked her lips and nodded.
