Sophia gasped softly and turned around to look at Kat smiling at her. “That’s right baby girl. You spoke, I’m so proud of you sweetheart. You’re so smart.” Sophia praised her and all of the feeling was genuine. She was excited that she had spoke and truly proud of the accomplishment. Something she never got as a child. None of her children would be denied that. She took Kats little hand for a moment then shifted to sit properly in her seat again and kissed Gabes cheek.
Nathaniel chewed his lip and stared at the tiny girl then back over at Amelie as he crossed his lap then sat again.
Kat smiled and looked up at Sophia when she turned around, smiling wider.
Amelie poked Gabe’s side and leaned forward. “Are you gonna cry?” She whispered, then put a small pack of tissues on his lap. When she sat back in her seat, she looked up at Nathaniel.
He laughed quietly. “I’m not gonna cry,” He wiped his eyes again, shaking his head. “I love you.” He kissed Sophia’s cheek and smiled.
