Gabe unbuckled his seatbelt and stepped into the aisle to grab Amelie. He put her on his shoulders and wrapped his arm around Sophia’s waist.

Sophia walked with Gabe and put her free arm around his waist too and moved to luggage claim, waiting for the three pink suitcases. 

He kissed her cheek and grabbed his suitcase when he saw it, then took his phone out of his pocket and took it off airplane mode. “I think one of my friends is picking us up.”
