Sophia turned around and got on her knees, putting her hands on his thighs. She didn’t know how she could make him feel better. She figured that she probably couldn’t.
“You shouldn’t knock it until you try it.”
“It’s been the tried and true method for centuries. Before science decided to poke people with needles to find out. Go ahead. Ask her to show you her hands. See if she shows them palms up or palms down.” she raised an eyebrow at him.
Gabe looked down at her and ran his hands through his hair. “How is this even possible.”
“I don’t wanna try it. Don’t. Eat. Pizza. With. A. Fork.”
He turned and looked at Gabe and Sophia. “I don’t think that’s a good idea right now.”
