Sophia covered her mouth with her hand to stifle a gasp and just stared at Anne Marie and Gabe. She didn’t know what to think. He thought she was dead but there she was. How was it possible? She got up off of the floor and found Kat. She needed to do something with her hands. She didn’t know what else to do. She say on the stairs with Kat in her arms giving Gabe and his sister space. Of all of the people she had to meet, Anne Marie was the one that terrified her most because Gabe was so close to her. Since it was late Kat was dozing and not much entertainment but at least holding the baby girl she wasn’t ripping at her hands.

Nathaniel smiled when Amelie climbed into his lap and continued to eat his pizza as he was instructed to.

“You can’t explain everything in this world, drew. And sometimes the things that are most unexplainable are the most powerful and beautiful of them” Eva said.

“Fuck,” He sniffled and wiped his eyes. “What the fuck?”
“Don’t ask questions right now,” She shook her head. “Questions later, okay? Take me to the girl you’re marrying, Gabe.”

Amelie grinned and finished her slice. “Pizza is yum as fuck.”

“It’s still really weird,” Drew said, nodding. “Weird to me, anyway.”
