“Maybe I will. But I don’t want to talk about her or any other horrid things. Theres a wedding tomorrow and it’s supposed to be happy. And now we’re all together, we can all have a good time. Together.” Sophia blinked and looked behind Gabe. “Do you hear Amelie yelling?”
Nathaniel blinked and leaned back in his chair, staring up at Amelie.
“I didn’t ask for two children,” he murmured.“Awesome!” she nodded and walked close to him.
Gabe raised an eyebrow and looked toward the stairs before nodding. “Sounds like she went feminist on a sexist again,” He laughed quietly. “I’m thinking she yelled at your dad. No one in this family is dumb enough to set her off like that.”
Amelie raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. “Well, you were man enough to create kids, you should’ve been man enough to raise them. And by raise them, I mean do it yourself, not hire someone else to do it. And you should’ve raised them equally, not mistreat one just cause she’s a girl.”
He smiled and grabbed Gabe’s car keys off the coffee table, then led her outside. “We’re taking Gabe’s car. I don’t think he’ll notice.”
“I’m going across the hall to change, hurry up,” He threw his bag over his shoulder, then grabbed a pair of boots out of...
“Well I don’t. But fine. Leave me to change”
